Services for Community Associations

IPM Corp., AAMC Earns Top Industry Designation

IPM Corp. is a member of the elite group of community association management companies who have earned the Accredited Association Management Company (AAMC) designation from the national standards setting Community Associations Institute (CAI). IPM is one of just over 100 companies in 22 states nationally to meet the rigid performance standards required to earn the designation.

To earn the designation, a management company must meet all the following criteria:

  • Have at least three years of experience providing community management services
  • Commit to operating within a strict code of ethics.
  • Meet financial and reporting requirements for management of client associations' bank accounts, reserve funds, budgets and expenditures.
  • Maintain fidelty, liability and worker's compensation insurance.
  • At least 75 percent of company managers must hold the Professional Community Association Manager (PCAM®), Association Management Specialist (AMS®), Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA®) or Certified Property Manager (CPM®) designations.
  • Each manager must receive at least 12 hours of continuing education annually.

Education for Community Leadership

IPM is dedicated to expanding the understanding of the dynamics and processes of effective community leadership, and to sharing in the basic concepts and leading edge achievements available through our extensive educational resources.


Each year, IPM Corp. hosts the ABC's Workshop in conjunction with the Community Associations Institute of North Carolina. This all day workshop for Board members of homeowner associations in Western North Carolina provides a basic approach to Common Interest Residential Association including a 200+ page course manual with samples and examples of such topics as:

  • Problem solving
  • Maintenance issues
  • Rules enforcement
  • Financial and board meeting techniques
  • The roles of board members and committees
  • Legal issues updates
